Mumble is a voice over IP (VoIP) application primarily designed for use by gamers, similar to programs such as TeamSpeak and Ventrilo.

Mumble uses a client–server architecture which allows users to talk to each other via the same server. It has a very simple administrative interface and features high sound quality and low latency. All communication is encrypted to ensure user privacy.

If you run into trouble get in touch with the IT team.

Whisper Key

Please allways use the whisper key, unless your FC is in a command channel and you absolutely have to relay info to him.

A Whisper key allows you to talk your channel only, so you won't disturb the command channel.

The highlighted Audio Output Settings brings down the volume of other programs when others talk. This can also cause your EVE client to mute itself when you Alt+Tab out of game when someone's talking.
